We are absolutely delighted with the number of enquiries we have received in the last couple of months regarding the 22nd MEA National Conference. It shows that you our members are as excited as we are about next year’s destination. It also demonstrates that the MEA National Conference is truly the leading industry event – an opportunity to learn from the best, most innovative and knowledgeable practitioners in the industry as well as network with the meetings and events industry professionals from across Australia and of course to celebrate the achievements and success at the MEA National Awards Night.
As we all know South Australia is famous for its wonderful food and wine and the conference social program will showcase exactly that. The Adelaide Local Host Committee is in charge of presenting our delegates with the most delectable menus accompanied by an outstanding entertainment program.
The conference speaker program is going to be divided into three streams:
Meeting and Event Organisers; Venues; and Service Providers (This includes: Convention and Visitor Bureaux; AV and Staging / Theming companies; Speakers and Entertainment, Merchandising and Promotion, Transport and Travel, Exhibition Companies). This structure will ensure that all sectors of our membership are covered and all interests are catered for. Although the program is not yet finalised it will include the topics that you, our members, indicated as the most pressing and interesting to you.
The conference program will include two Master Classes and two Articulated Professional Development sessions. Master Classes are appropriate for delivery to Business Principals / Executive Managers with responsibility for running their organisations. Articulated Professional Development sessions will be offered to those wishing to undertake units of competence toward the Diploma in Event Management whilst attending the MEA National Conference.
Without a doubt, the Conference will present a fantastic opportunity for professional development and networking.
Conference registration is due to open early December.
