Y MEA (Young MEA Professionals)
MEA’s Y MEA program is growing from strength to strength, with many milestones already being reached. Y MEA now has an Executive Committee with representation from most states and territories. Our Y MEA committee are currently developing their own logo and branding, and speaking on a national level about joint ideas.
Depending on whom the MEA contact is within your organisation Y MEAs may not receive our information directly. I would be most appreciative if on reading the MEA e-broadcast or Y MEA correspondence that you pass it to the relevant Y MEA in your organisation.
Thanks to Y MEA National Sponsor:
MEA Sponsor Thank You
You will note from the amount of content in this e-broadcast to members that MEA Australia-wide is certainly thriving.
Our past and on-going success would not be possible without the support of our valued members and sponsors.
This year some of MEA’s work has included:
- Hosting valuable Professional Development, Education and Networking Sessions
- Running a state based and national Awards Program
- Managing our Annual Conference for members
- Facilitating a joint Mentor Program
- Growing our on-going member benefits
- Delivering a successful Meetings Manager Accreditation Program
- Delivering a successful Recognition Program
- Publishing the Who’s Who in Meetings & Events
- Running a reputable Y MEA Program
- Membership of the Business Events Council of Australia (BECA)
Each of the above initiatives and in fact all MEA initiatives involve the support of our sponsors, and much of what we do would not be possible without this. Sponsorship comes in different ways, examples include: financial resources; human resources; venue; audio-visual; theming; catering; entertainment; conference support and so much more.
I would like to sincerely thank everyone who sponsors or supports MEA as the predominant Association for the Meetings & Business Events Industry.
Whilst the list of our sponsors changes daily, and many of them are individuals giving of their time, outlined below is a national and state by state listing of our major sponsors.
