Coming Events in MEA Australia-wide
Australian Capital Territory
The ACT branch committee is busy working on our 2 main events for 2008.
Professional Development: One is the always popular Essentials course, a one-day introductory workshop for students, government, association & government personnel and is designed to equip participants with a basic understanding of the systems & procedures required to successfully organise meetings and events. If you are working in the business events industry and have less than 3 years full time experience, then this is a must attend for you. The workshop promises a range of relevant, inspirational and informative guest speakers who are leaders in their field. Essentials will be held on Wednesday 19 March so book now to reserve your spot!
Networking: The other date to make sure to add to the calendar is the MEA ACT Meetings & Events Industry Awards Night on Tuesday 1 April. If you are a finalist in the MEA Awards, this is your chance to shine in the spotlight you deserve! If you work in business events in the ACT, it is the networking event of the year and an opportunity to celebrate local event industry achievements and congratulate your fellow colleagues. For enquiries on registration please contact (02) 9929 5400 or act@mea.org.au.
