MEA Launches Registered Training Organisation
After almost 2 years of work it was a great occasion for MEA to launch its Registered Training Organisation on Wednesday 28 November 2007.
This event was kindly sponsored by: Dockside Group; Impact AV; EventPix; and Prideaux Entertainment Solutions, and we offer our sincere gratitude to each of you for your support.
Guests travelled from around Australia to attend this momentous occasion that will see MEA offer Certificate Qualifications in Sales and Marketing and Event Management around the country in 2008 and on-going.

Victoria leads the way in MEA’s Training of the Future
MEA Victoria has embraced MEA’s new status as a Registered Training Organisation and wasted no time in putting together MEA’s first articulated training session. Jacqui Muir presented the full day session on Establishing and Conducting Business Relationships at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre on 15 November. All 16 participants enjoyed the session and received a surprise visit from MEA CEO, Linda Gaunt, who was coincidentally in Melbourne for the day. Participants had the option to undertake the assessment to gain the formal Certificate of Completion for this unit of competency for use towards a Diploma of Event Management or Certificate IV in Tourism (Sales & Marketing).
All Branches will be introducing articulated training in their 2008 calendars.
