Professional Development: Performing Site Inspections & Hosting a Group
Thursday 24 April 2008
In two parts this session from last year returned by request and proved to be just as popular with over 30 members in attendance. It covered everything from the initial enquiry, trade shows and actual site inspections. The second part of this session focused on the “dos and don’ts” of hosting a group, whether it be for lunch, dinner or an overnight stay. Attendees heard how to keep their groups entertained, and how to use these events to ensure development of strong client relationships.
Special thanks to our presenters from Grand Hyatt Melbourne, Kimberley Flanagan and Staris Latkas for sharing their industry knowledge and to our 2008 Victorian partners in excellence, Audio Visual Dynamics and Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
